Individual points of fabric are tied tightly with thread before dyeing — the tied areas resist the colour, creating a pattern of dots and circles when the ties are released. It is one of India's oldest textile traditions. Approximately 4000 years old.
Yes. Every Marazim piece is made to order to your measurements. Nothing is produced in advance and held in stock. This means your garment is made for your body, by our skilled artisans, after your order is placed.
Our standard made-to-order timeline is 35 to 40 days from the date your order is confirmed and your measurements are received. For urgent requests, please contact us via WhatsApp before placing an order.
Yes. Marazim is designed to be an approachable brand for customisation. Colour, size, and certain design elements can be discussed directly with us via WhatsApp or by booking a private appointment. Custom orders may carry a longer lead time.
Every Marazim piece is made by a named artisan — a karigar whose name, village, and craft background is documented by us. Their work details appear on your garment tag. You will know exactly how it was made.
We use separate top and bottom size selectors for all sets. A detailed size guide is available on every product page. However, our team will contact you to get the length of the Kurta and pants once your order is confirmed. For a custom fit, click on “custom” before placing your order.

All Marazim garments should be dry-cleaned only. Do not steam iron. Store it in the bag provided to you with the garment. Full care instructions are included with every order.
Yes, you can buy individual garments. However, it is cost-effective to buy a full set instead of individual items.
